A Heart’s Desire: Singles Events to Thoughtfully Surprise
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a mass-produced eligible guy, all too occupied by being without a date instead of living it up with friends. It’s unlikely you guys probably never read me post on great dating and compatibility. There’s a reason for that.
Idleness is an unfortunate human characteristic and completely neglected in my genetics. However, Winter of 09 was an exception, I definitely needed to end a worthwhile cohabitation and I felt a great deal for but just deadended for both of us. I guess somone would tell ya its been years since I dated someone new. I can’t find the great expectations I once did.
I’m not used to being single. One thing is for sure, I won’t spend another weekend faithfully watching Battlestar Galactica episodes off the torrents. The biggest factor behind this spell of weekend dating lameness? We’re not in high school, and everyone else is boring.
My accomplished football pal, Brandon, who has never had dating lameness, sympathized because he is almost in the same boat. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. I take to meeting new chicas who share my passions. So I bit the bullet and became a member.
The point is, there ain’t room to complain due to being alone when ya haven’t even put yourself into the game. Just like our mentor and basketball coach Terry Neelon often said between war stories, “When the ladies don’t bite, bite them first, shooter.”
Sheer genius, right? Regardles, the old guy was right in a round about way. He always made us laugh. The fun company offering matchmaking services in Dallas that I use might’ve done a number on the old man’s brain.
Through great expectations I talked to a ton of insightful and appealing singles that hold my expectations. I actually had a blast with dozens of pretty remarkable men and women. Called it a night following an exchange of digits, in addition to the fact that I grew some professional connections for my job. Success.
Put yourself in the play. Can’t be happy if you sit the bench. Listen to me and at least have great expectations for great dating.
