Summer Dieting Tips
Cut the Calories, Bring Out the Bikini
Summer’s almost here and you want to get into the swim of things, but the B word – bikini – has been blindsided once again by that C word – calories.
What can you do to get in shape at the last minute?
Adam Shafran, co-author of the new book “You Can’t Lose Weight Alone The Partner Power Weight Loss Program,” says it’s never too late to start losing weight. Aside from diet and exercise, Shafran says it is important to have a partner or buddy who can be there for you through your thick and thin days and nights.
“Find someone – a friend, a partner, a husband, who you can be accountable to,” he says. “Someone you can walk with, someone who won’t let you down, someone who will be there to exercise with you and get you to exercise and someone who will weigh in with you every week.”
Successful weight loss, he says, doesn’t mean that you have to deprive yourself; it simply means that you have to watch yourself.
Shafran, a Georgia chiropractor who along with co-author Lee Kantor owns a personal fitness center, offers these non-fattening bite-size bits of advice for fitting into that itsy-bitsy bikini:
* Instead of drinking calories, eat them. Cut out sugar-based drinks like soda and juices and substitute water or dilute them with a shot of seltzer. Sodas have 200 to 400 calories, and Shafran says that if you can reduce your weekly calories by 3,500, you can lose a pound of fat. If you add exercise, it will be easy to meet the 3,500 goal because even if you only walk for 30 minutes a day, you burn about 300 calories or 2,100 per week. Add to that the 1,400 to 2,800 you’ll save by drinking water, and you’re on your way to slimness.
* Replace calorically dense foods with ones that aren’t dense. Those breakfast bars may taste great and they may only be 200 calories, but you’re hungry again almost before you eat the last bite. Salads, fruits and soups are better choices because they fill you up. And make your salad a meal, not a snack. Add hearts of palm, walnuts, chickpeas, olives, tuna, corn, peas and even shredded cheese to the lettuce and tomatoes so it’s tasty and healthy. Juices are OK, but they won’t give you the fiber to make you feel filled. “They won’t help you cut calories,” he says.
* Go light on salad dressings, which are calorically dense. Make your own with olive oil or canola oil. Measure them; don’t pour them on.
* Take more time to eat, and you will feel filled. “Hunger goes away over time,” Shafran says. “If you feel hungry, you may only be dehydrated. Wait five or 10 minutes and the hunger will go away.”
* Eat several small meals spaced throughout the day instead of one big meal at night. “If you are hungry and don’t eat, you will become ravenous and start eating everything in sight,” Shafran says. “When you’re at work, set a timer or an alarm on your watch that will beep every three to four hours to remind you to eat a snack. And make it fruit or nuts.”
* It’s easier to exercise at a gym than it is to work out at home. Gyms offer visual distractions – you can watch TV, you can watch people. “There’s energy in gyms, there’s music, there are things to take your mind off the boredom of exercising,” Shafran says.

In the future the human brain will interface with computer networks and other brains within the whole; the whole being that of the “one” or the whole of humanity. Some might fear this, yet we have two hemispheres of our brain and half could be connected to the whole; the other to self. Think of the Internet and Blogs? On one hand you share information and data to the world, or if password protected to certain groups, yet as soon as you turn off your computer you are once again only connected to self. Even while on the Internet you are air-gapped or not completely connected.
If you look at a Bee Hive, those bees are quite content to service to the hive and are willing to sacrifice self to do so. Imagine now a human race which works together in a Capitalistic system for the benefit of the individual, “you” in that private place in your mind which becomes self fulfilled by helping others by sharing knowledge and promoting self by that feeling of doing good and helping. The flow of thoughts in this regard would be a wonderful Internet connection indeed; uninhibited instant communication. You would not give up self, but you could share that which makes you, you with whoever you wished. You could instantly communicate with all the people in the world who loved jet skiing and if they wished to, they could receive such information and communicate back. You could feel their experiences, virtual reality in your head without going anywhere.
Well you can imagine that there would be no more wars and if you are transferring thoughts and they were delivered in pictures or in a visual sense they are a universal language so that would not be an issue although those who think in terms of words would be understood since you have all the world’s knowledge in a chip. When you were ready to perish, you could transfer all your experiences in 4D to your offspring, so they would not make the same mistakes that you felt you did. Perhaps you could transfer them into the whole of human consciousness without time and backed up on a giant computer system. Think of the benefit to mankind if every one who died and all their worldly knowledge was saved forever? Now this is what the future will be at our present rate technological progression. And realize that science is moving in this direction.

With all the Bio-metrics work being done we will see the merging of information and cognitive abilities go hyperbolic in the human brain. This is good in that it will increase the Flow of Thought, without barriers of language, location or time. Imagine the future, it is almost here. Think about it.

Green Giant arborvitae is becoming a superstar in the plant
world. It is the most popular arborviate next to the Emerald
Green Arborvita. The reason for its success is that it fill
landscape needs that iare important. It will help block large
unsightly neighbors quickly and is basically pest free. It is
also a plant that is in the public domain and not protected by a
patnent. Thus anyone can propagate this plant.
The original Green Giant got its name not from ancient lore, but
from unusually extra large, hence “giant,” green peas. These
“Green Giant Peas” were a new “strain,” a new species,
introduced by the Minnesota Valley Canning Company in 1925. You
see, these were huge peas when compared to the previously
marketed baby peas early-picked in June (that’s sure early in
co-o-o-old Minnesota). LeSueur baby peas are still sold today in
their classic silver can as a gourmet vegetable.
Founded back in 1903, Minnesota Valley Canning was a pea company
located along the Minnesota River, which was the Dakota Sioux
name for “cloudy water,” just southwest of Minneapolis and St.
Paul, the state capital. This is where there’s a bottomland
“confluence” with the even cloudier, soil-rich, muddier
Mississippi River. The whole area, including surrounding towns
like LeSueur, got the title, the “Minnesota Valley.” Ohhh. And
where did THAT name, LeSeur, come from you may be wondering?
Lesueur is the name of the original explorer of the area, a
Frenchmen of the early 1700’s.
Minnessota is amidst the land of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox
Babe, tall tales about them a part of he culture. Maybe the
stories gave rise to ideas for how to advertise Green Giant Peas.
The “Jolly Green Giant” became incredibly popular as the way to
advertise those Green Giant Peas and by 1950 he was an “icon” as
we say today. There was a cartoon character created, ubiquitous
TV commercials and print advertising, even “giant-sized” highway
billboards, so the company changed its name to his.
So that is where the “Green Giant” comes from, 20th century
modern marketing, not ancient lore. The Green Giant Thuja
Plicata is in the same Juniper family as the original “tree of
life” Arborvitae, but with growth rates as fast as three feet
per year (gee, bamboo’s the fastest grower at five feet per, but
it’s just grass). Thuja Plicata trees grow to heights beyond 200
feet in the Pacific Northwest, this Western RedCedar is indeed
worthy of also taking the Green Giant name.
http://www.seedlingsrus.com , http://www.zone5trees.com , and
http://www.highlandhillfarm.com
The Green Giant Arborvitae is more properly named by tree
scientists the “Thuja Plicata,” with the other common historic
names being, “giant cedar,” also “western cedar,” and “red
cedar.” There’s only one other Arborvitae specie in all of North
America, the “eastern cedar,” or “white cedar,” with “Thuja
Occidentalis,” as the tree scientist’s Latin name, the
botanist’s name. This short tree is actually what we usually
think of when the “genus” juniper is mentioned.
Funny that the eastern cedar was given the Latin name for
“west” which is “occidental.” You see? As I have observed
before, what’s in a name? Highland Hill Farm is not located in a
town called Highland Hills, or, on Highland Hill Road, etc.
Scottish Highland Hills cows that we grazed on our first
property provided our company with a distinctive name when we
sold our first trees in 1978.
Green Giant Arborvitae ranges naturally all across the United
States from Massachusetts, southwesterly to Texas and New
Mexico, through northern Arizona, up the Sierra Nevada Mountains
to the state of Washington, and British Columbia beyond.
What does arborvitae mean anyway? Now that we know about the
derivation of “Green Giant,” here’s how the Latin name
Arborvitae, or “tree of life,” came about. As the first
explorers of Canada were mapping the St. Lawrence River in 1536,
the tree was used for medicine which saved their leader and most
of the men too. Jacques Cartier explored the islands off eastern
Canada, and then sailed westward where he entered the St.
Lawrence River and found Quebec and a Royal Mountain (Mont Real,
which is now called “Montreal”). Cartier was searching for the
passage to China so many other explorers would also fail to
find. Cartier and his men had to spend a long winter inside a
little fort, away from the any sun, where they subsisted on
meat, fish, and bread, eating no fruits or vegetables. As scurvy
was killing most all of them, a friendly Huron Indian gave
Cartier’s crew tea made from the needles and bark of a tree
which looked like the white cedars of Europe. So Cartier took
some trees back to France with him, these Thuja Occidentalis
Eastern White Cedars, naming them “Arborvitae,” the tree of
life. How about that?
Arborvitae are native to the pacific northwest where they grow
to 200 feet tall, usually 50 to 70 feet is the common height,
even including here in Bucks county. Arborvitae do best in wet
forests and swamps. The Green Giant appearance is due to this
specie’s wide 15-25 foot wide base, the slightly tapering
conical shape, and the dense branches and leaves casting great
dark shadows. The Arborvitae grows in zones 6 to 8, environments
with temperatures that get as low as 10 degrees below 0
Fahrenheit, such as in Missouri or Pennsylvania, to environments
where winter temperatures get only as low as 20 degrees above 0
Fahrenheit, such as mid-Texas and northern Florida.
Green Giant Arborvitae have pretty, yet surprisingly tiny
yellow flowers. The “pine cones,” the fruit actually, of the
tree, follow the budding of the flowers and are also
surprisingly small compared to the size of a mature tree, being
no more than a half-inch in size. There are no problems with
tree litter understandably, and so few animals are attracted to
the Green Giant Arborvitae, perhaps because of this description.
The Green Giant Arborvitae is recommended for growing as a
hedge or privacy buffer along a property line, or driveway.
Thuja Plicata, Western Red Cedars are ideal “windrow” trees. In
a row, they’ll truly diminish the wind. The Green Giant
Arborvitae is justifiably considered wind resistant considering
the windswept mountains of the Pacific northwest. The wood
itself is weak, but it is very light. Green Giant Arborvitae do
have better deer resistance than most arborvitae. These trees
have been planted in high deer population areas. On our farm in
Doylestown we have lots of deer and do have damage the Emerald
Green Arborvitae. The Green Giants are eaten by deer only an
occasionally, a nibble here and there. Based on our own
observations over the years we feel that the Green Giants will
only be eaten by deer if there is no other feed available.
Now that you know all about ‘em, Highland Hill Farm has at
least 50 or more Green Giant Arborvitae in our nursery ready for
pickup at any time. They will range from 1.5′ to 12′ and be
balled and burlapped or potted. We also have field liners and
seedling Green Giant available. There are many more varieties of
arborvitae available which we have in stock. If we don’t stock
the variety you want we will find it for you if possible. See

Tips for Getting a Personal Loan Fast and Hassle-free
Finding the best deal
Your aim will of course be to find the lender offering the lowest interest rate and the most flexible repayment schedule so you’ll get the lowest monthly payments possible.
There are Secured and unsecured personal loans.
If you choose to go for a secured loan you’ll probably get lower interest rates, larger loan amounts and longer repayment programs.
But remember, if you don’t need that much money don’t take all the money the lenders are offering. You can always borrow money later; you should keep your debt to a minimum.
Take advantage of online services
Once you’ve decided how much money you need, it’s time to start your research.
Looking for potential lenders hasn’t have to be such a nuisance.
There are many online sites that offer access to a wide list of lenders that will present you with loan offers and you’ll be able to choose which one best suits your needs after comparing them from the comfort of your home.
Pay special attention to interest rate (APR), repayment schedules, loan amounts, and also whether there are extra fees or not that may turn an otherwise good looking deal into a big burden.
Another Benefit
A Personal loan can serve any personal purpose; you can use it to pay for medical bills, going on vacations, making home improvements, and more.
But there is another benefit that comes when you secure a personal loan and regularly pay the monthly installments.
This benefit, as important as it is, is usually disregarded.
Paying back a personal loan will increase your credit score and improve your credit history, thus, the next time you request a loan you’ll end up paying a lower interest rate and you’ll be able to request a higher loan amount.
Mary Ann Wise, a professional consultant with more than twenty years in the financial field, is currently committed to helping people in the process of securing personal loans, mortgage, refinance or consolidation loans and preventing consumers from falling into the hands of fraudulent lenders.

What 97% Marketers Don’t Know About Cheap Reseller Rights
I’m sharing one of my bad experiences with you, which I think
will be useful for many people. While I made some mistakes, it
sure made me learn a lot, which can be the foundation for
success. “Learn from your mistakes”, as your high school teacher
would say! And you can learn from others’ mistakes too. Listen
to my story. When I was first started as an affiliate marketer
and made a few odd sales here and there, I came across and ad
that said something similar to the following.
“Over 50 high-demand quality products with master reseller
rights. Package price is just $47. Some products on the package
alone sell for $47. Sell just one product and make your
investment back. All you need to start selling is just putting
your own order link in the professionally designed order-pulling
webpages we provide.”
With this kind of bait, I bet you’ll surely bite it if you are
in a similar situation as I was then. I want you to see an
active current advertisement for reseller rights that goes
similar to the above ad, so you can get the real feel. Just go
to Google and type the phrase “reseller rights” and see the
bunch of offers in front of you, which resemble what I described
above.
Let’s come back to my story. I bought the package and yes, they
gave me everything they promised. As they said, sales webpages
are professionally designed and they truly had the pulling
power. I’m so thrilled because I didn’t have to create my own
product but could be a product owner instantly and start selling
quicker than I ever thought of. I bought a domain name and a
hosting account, all which cost me under $20. I could start a
business up and running for investing just $67.
I did some advertising for my new products. Compared to my
affiliate advertising experience, my new business was performing
really poor. I was wondering what’s wrong with it, making a two
or three changes to my offer and so on, but to find no sales. At
this stage, I stumbled upon the concept of “Joint Ventures” and
it’s power. So I wrote some JV proposals to big names with my
products. I wrote for about 100 people. But just about 3 people
replied and what they said was similar to the following.
“Sorry. This product is so old and some people are even offering
it for free on their sites. Bye.”
I was surprised first and I just made a search for my product
name on the net, and yes, I found a bunch of sites offering
exactly the same product from the exactly the same website at
prices ranging from $0 to $37. Some people sell at $17, some at
$27, and some people offering as a gift to their newsletter
subscribers and so on. There was no standard. Think about it.
Everybody gets the same website and when they advertise (or
advise) “just change the order link”, that’s what everybody will
do. There is no uniqueness in your offer. And they also
advertise “you can set your own price”, which leads to the
prices such as $1 or even $0, giving as a gift for their
newsletter subscribers.
The above was true for almost all the products in the package I
bought. (But I never refunded it because the quality of the
products was great and I learned a lot from the top online
marketers, let alone re-selling it. It was good enough for $47.
Plus, they advertised the offer honestly and they cannot be kept
liable for my own experience.)
Think twice before buying a master reseller rights product under
$100. When a person gets master reseller rights for a product
under $100, its perceptive value is lost and the buyers may sell
it dirt cheap. Think about the second level buyer, who may get
the product for about $27. They may sell it for about $17 and so
on. The product will be available everywhere soon and some
people may even give it free as a gift for their newsletter
subscribers. Then there won’t be any further market for the
product.
So do a deep search before you going for a reseller rights
package. See whether it’s offered anywhere else and if it is, at
what price. If somebody offers it for $10, it’s not right for
you to sell at $20. Think about your customer buying from you
for $20 and sees the offer in another site for $10. Would he buy
from you again? And also think about the reputation of your
domain / business. Online marketing world is small and
reputation is about everything and can impact you a great deal.
So did I give up the reseller rights idea? Nope. I searched the
net for reseller rights products and also searched whether these
are offered elsewhere for cheap. Most reseller rights products
offered online today has already reached market saturation
point. When I contacted an expensive reseller rights package
owner and convinced him some of the products he offered were
available for pennies, his reply was opportunities are limitless
and you can also grab a piece of the pie. And the chances of
your (my) customers finding the other product at a cheaper price
is lesser. But beware that with this kind of an offer, you
aren’t offering your customers the best value for money, which
you must think if you are to build a reputed business and want
your customers to come back. Secondly, your customers might get
angry at seeing the same product offered for 1/4th of your price
or for free and may request a refund. It’ll also harm your
reputation.
I spent a lot of time searching for good reseller rights
products and discovered only two best resources that gave
exclusive reseller rights packages. The first one I got to know
was Nicheology (http://www.nicheology.com) by Jimmy D. Brown. He
offered 2 new raw products every month, so you can edit and
customize them anyway you want and create your own products. A
sales letter isn’t provided, but the products are of high
quality. (Recently, they have updated their system and they
provide you a sales letter.)
You can create your own product with Nicheology and this makes
your products exclusive and gives you the chance to price,
brand, add your own twist and whatever you want to do with the
package. If you don’t mind spending some time and have some
experience, this is a quality option. Creating your own product
is what makes the most money and with Nicheology, almost half of
the work is done. The hardest part, researching and compiling
info into a DOC / RTF file is already done for you. When I tried
to join them, I was put on a waiting list. I would have joined
if I had the chance then.
While I’m in the waiting list, I discovered E-Book-Wholesaler
(http://mafoor.com/ebw) by Tom Hua, by clicking a link on an
ebook I had with FreeToSell (http://www.freetosell.com) by Tom
Hua. Wow! I found a great solution there. I had instant access
to so many high-quality products with ready-made webpages. All
products had quality ready-made webpages with recommended
prices. The reseller rights are only available to members and
cannot be passed on. Plus, you cannot sell below the recommended
price. If somebody is selling as such, you can complain it to
Tom Hua straight and he’ll take instant action.
I searched for some quality products they offered on the net,
wondering if somebody is selling for dirt cheap as the case with
others. I didn’t find any. The best part is that almost all work
is done for you and you can just change the ‘order link’ and
start selling and most importantly, you are protected from
competition by having minimum recommended prices. The value of
the products are also protected by giving only reseller rights
to members, not master reseller rights. So the market saturation
and declining of the value of the product is protected. In
simpler terms, if you sell to John for $17, John cannot resell
the package. If he wants to, he must join eBookWholesaler, in
which case he has to abide to the terms and will not be able to
sell the book under the preset recommended price.
I went for this one ahead of Nicheology because I’m not a
product creation expert, the limitation of time for me and all I
wanted to start off was a reseller rights package with products
I can just change the order links and sell, while not having the
problems I explained above. This gave me the perfect solution to
my situation. So I joined them without a second thought and am
really impressed with what I had access to as a member. I’m not
exaggerating here, but this resource gives you true value for
money.
While the quality resources I mentioned above will give you high
quality reseller rights products, you must pay recurring fees as
opposed to one-time fees you pay for cheap old reseller rights
bundles. So I recommend you to go for the best only if you have
the confidence of selling products and cover the recurring
membership fees. In other words, you have the right knowledge on
marketing the products. Otherwise you’ll struggle to pay your
monthly membership fees and as a result, you may get discouraged
if you are a starter.
If you are a starter, I recommend you to search the net for a
cheap package with many reseller rights products. I’m talking
about a package under $50, but try to get the best available.
You have two goals with this package. Firstly, you can learn so
much if the package had quality ebooks from big name marketers.
Secondly, you can sell some of the products offered for cheap as
a practise. I mean selling $47 recommended-price product under
$10, if you find it has already reached the market saturation
point, which can be the case most of the time. This way, you
won’t lose your image and you’ll be able to get some valuable
experience. The package at http://mafoor.com/reseller is a good
one at the time of this writing, in which you get so many
products for a low price. But try to find a better one on your
own, if available.
I wish this article gave you some good advice and direction if
you are in the thirst of reseller rights profits. Please drop me
a line at mafoor@mafoor.com if you find this information useful.
I wish you very good luck with your reseller rights business and
ventures.
An Affordable Online Writer Is One Who Helps You Make Money
Hiring an affordable online writer does not mean getting the cheapest one available. It actually means getting one who will make you money. It is as simple as that.
The online writer who does not help you increase traffic and thus revenue is not affordable, no matter how low their rates are. It really does not matter if they are charging you a few cents for each article they generate for your site; they are just not affordable. What makes this sort of online writer even more expensive is the fact that they will often take up a lot of your time. Many site owners forget that their time is amongst the most valuable assets in their possession.
It is for this reason that an affordable online writer will have to be one who understands SEO (search engine optimization). SEO skills will enable them to select the best keyword phrases for your site that will attract serious traffic via leading search engines for you. Keyword skills have often helped some webmasters and affordable online writers find keyword phrases that are non- competitive and yet generate a colossal number of hits on a daily basis. The result has been an unbelievable volume of traffic being generated.
